Todd Bennett

Todd Anthony Bennett (born July 6, 1962 in Southampton , England , † July 16, 2013 there ) was a British athlete .

Career

Todd Bennett was a European Junior Champion in 1981 as a 400 meter runner . He later had his greatest successes indoors and with the United Kingdom's 4-by-400-meter relay . He started for England at the Commonwealth Games. According to his team, Southampton Athletic Club , Bennett died of cancer after a six-month illness. He left behind his wife and two children.
