Norbert Dobeleit

Norbert Dobeleit (born July 17, 1964 in Renchen in the Ortenaukreis ) is a German television presenter and former athlete . Starting for the Federal Republic of Germany, Dobeleit was a successful sprinter from the end of the 1980s to 1990 , whose most important achievement was the bronze medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul in the 4 x 400 meter relay race .

Life

Norbert Dobeleit's mother comes from Irlich , a district of Neuwied am Rhein, his father from Tilsit in East Prussia. He spent his childhood in the Upper Swabian vineyard . His parents later moved to Neuwied, where he started with athletics at LG Andernach-Neuwied and became a competitive athlete. Only later did he move to the top club TV Wattenscheid . At that time he was 1.88 m tall and weighed 75 kg.

Dobeleit is married to the presenter Tamara Sedmak and has a son with her. They now live separately.

Sports successes

Television career

In 1992 and 1993 Dobeleit presented the first NBA basketball program Dream Teams on the VOX broadcaster. From 1999 to 2003 he headed the sports department of the TV station group ProSieben / N24 and from 2000 to 2003 also moderated the N24 programs N24 Sport and the sports magazine. In addition, he presented the sports block on the news broadcasts of ProSieben and Sat.1 . From September 2005 to July 2006 he moderated the tabloid magazine BIZZ at ProSieben . In the 2006/2007 season, he finally hosted the pay TV channel Arena .

Since May 2004 Dobeleit has been managing partner of the lucky7even Entertainment agency for TV productions and communication.
