Tony Frenguelli

Tony Frenguelli , also Toni Frenguelli , actually Antonio Frenguelli , (* 1894 in Rome ; † unknown) was an Italian cameraman and film director .

Life

Frenguelli started early to work as a camera technician for the " Cines ". In the mid-1920s he was head cameraman in Germany and in his home country in the 1940s for several films by u. a. Riccardo Freda . In 1940 and 1946 he directed two films himself, for which he had also written the scripts. However, the works were only loaned out in moderate numbers. In 1951 he resumed his work as a cameraman for a handful of films until 1956, for example for Max Calandri .
