Antonio Rolla
(Giuseppe) Antonio Rolla (born April 18, 1798 in Parma , † May 19, 1837 in Dresden ) was an Italian violin virtuoso and composer.
Antonio Rolla is the son of Alessandro Rolla . He initially worked in his homeland as a violin teacher, in 1823 he was appointed concertmaster at the royal orchestra in Dresden , where he died of a fatal illness on May 19, 1837.
He was highly regarded as an instrumentalist and, in addition to some works for violin and orchestra, created a number of recognized study works for his instrument.
