Antonio Rossi (born December 19, 1968 in Lecco ) is a former Italian canoeist .

Life

In his five participations in the Olympic Games from 1992 to 2008 he won a total of three gold medals and one silver and one bronze medal. At the Canoe World Championships between 1993 and 1998 he won three gold and silver medals as well as a bronze one. Rossi was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony for Italy at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . He is married to Lucia Micheli , also an ex-canoeist. They took part in the 1992 Summer Olympics together .
