Antonis Koniaris ( Greek Αντώνης Κόνιαρης , born September 30, 1997 in Chania ) is a Greek basketball player who, with a height of 1.93 m, can be used in the positions of point guard or shooting guard .

Career

At club level

Born in Crete in 1997 , Koniaris began his professional career in 2013 with the Macedonian top club PAOK Saloniki . With this he made his debut not only in the first Greek league , but also on the European stage with PAOK's participation in the Eurocup . In 2016 his move to the Greek series champion Panathinaikos Athens was announced. With this he won the Greek club cup twice and gained his first experience in the EuroLeague . However, due to the short playing time, Koniaris moved back to Thessaloniki in 2016 . He stayed there until the summer of 2019 before signing a three-year contract (2 + 1) with Olympiacos Piraeus .

National team

Koniaris went through all of Greece's youth national teams and made his debut for the A squad .
