The season 2013/14 was the 12th season of the ULEB discharged Euro Cup .
Valencia BC from Spain won the title for the third time .
mode
48 teams took part in the tournament. The regular season was played in eight groups of six teams each. It was divided into two regional conferences. The first, second and third placed in each group reached the second group stage consisting of 32 teams, which was completed by eight participants in the Euroleague who had not reached the second round of the best 16 teams in that competition. It was held with eight groups of four teams, with the two best in each group qualifying for the round of 16. The round of 16, quarter-finals and the semi-finals were played in two games with a return leg. The overall winner progressed one lap. The last two teams played the winner of the Eurocup in two finals.
Participants in the main round
1a : Previous year placement in the regular seasons of the leagues mentioned
1b : Loser of the ULEB Euroleague qualification
Regular season
After the end of the Euroleague qualification , the draw on October 5, 2013 divided the participants into an eastern and a western conference. The teams from western, central and southern Europe came to the western conference and the teams from northern, eastern and south-eastern Europe to the eastern conference.
The teams from Turkey, Israel, Hungary and the Baltic States were added to the Eastern Conference, while the participants from the ABA League were divided into the Conferences in such a way that, unlike the other teams, the Croatian and Slovenian participants in the Western Conference participated.
1st group stage
The first group stage matches took place between October 15 and December 18, 2013.
For teams with the same number of wins, it was not the total point ratio that was decisive for the group placements, but only the added result in a direct comparison of the teams with one another.

2nd group stage (load 32)
The Round of 32 games took place between January 7 and February 19, 2014.
The eight eliminated teams of the Euroleague joined the 24 qualified teams from the preliminary round .
Just as in the preliminary round, for teams with the same number of wins, it was not the total basket point ratio that was decisive for the group placements, but only the added result in a direct comparison of the teams with one another.
