Pallacanestro Cantù is an Italian basketball club from Cantù in Lombardy , which has won numerous national and international titles.
history
In the late 1970s and early 1980s in particular, it was one of the most successful basketball clubs in Europe. The club won the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1982 and 1983 . Cantù also managed to win the European Cup Winners' Cup four times without ever having won an Italian cup competition , as such was not played between 1975 and 1983.
Apart from the years 1994 to 1996, the club has played in the top Italian division since 1954 .
