The 2002/03 season was the first season of the ULEB Cup hosted by the ULEB , which is now known as the EuroCup.
Pamesa Valencia from Spain won the title .

24 teams from eleven nations took part. The season began on October 15, 2002 and ended with the final second leg on April 24, 2003. In the group stage, the 24 teams played in four groups of six teams each. A double round was played everyone against everyone. The first four of each group reached the round of 16. The winners in this, as well as in the quarter-finals, in the semi-finals and in the final, were determined in the first and second leg.
