Antun Bauer (Bishop)
Antun Bauer (born February 11, 1856 in Breznica near Varaždin , Warasdin County , Kingdom of Croatia , Austrian Empire , † December 9, 1937 in Zagreb , Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) was Archbishop of Zagreb . As a philosopher, Bauer dealt critically with Wilhelm Wundt's views, among other things .

Life
Antun Bauer was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Zagreb in July 1879 at the age of 23 . From 1886 to 1890 he was editor of the newspaper Katolički list . His appointment as coadjutor archbishop and titular archbishop of Pessinus took place on January 20, 1911. The episcopal ordination donated him on January 29, 1911 Cardinal Secretary of State , Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val y Zulueta . Antun Bauer became Archbishop of Zagreb on April 26, 1914. Bauer was Archbishop of Zagreb for 23 years.
Antun Bauer died on December 9, 1937 at the age of 81.
