The stipules have a length of 1.5 to 5 millimeters and are cut to 17 to 60% of the length. The leaf lobes are broadly triangular and usually 0.8 to 2, rarely up to 3 times as long as wide. The flowers are often bare and up to 1.5 millimeters in length. The sepals are 0.25 to 0.4 times as long as the sepal cup . They bow together last. The tips of the sepals touch or almost touch each other. The outer sepals are usually tiny, often nonexistent. When ripe, the goblet is quite spherical. It is not thickened spongy and there are no raised nerves.
