The Api is a 7132 m high mountain in the Himalayas in the far west of Nepal .
It is located in the western part of the Gurans Himal mountain range in the Darchula district in the Mahakali administrative zone .
The first ascent was made by a Japanese expedition (Katsutoshi Hirabayashi and Gyltsen Norbu) on May 10, 1960.
