Apian-Bennewitz
Apian-Bennewitz , also Apian von Bennewitz or Apianus von Bennewitz, is the name of a German noble family . The original name Bennewitz or Bienewitz ('Biene-witz' in the sense of "Bienendorf") was Germanised after Apian (Latin apis 'bee'), Apianus represents the Latinized form.
