Apink ( Korean 에이 핑크 ) is a six-member South Korean girl group that was founded in 2011 by A Cube Entertainment (since 2016 Plan A Entertainment). Her band leader is Park Cho-rong, a former trainee at JYP Entertainment .

They made their debut with the song Mollayo ( 몰라요 'I don't know') on April 21, 2011. Kikwang from Beast can be seen in the video . Since then the group has won numerous rookie awards, including a. at the 26th Golden Disk Awards , 21st Seoul Music Awards, and 13th Mnet Asian Music Awards .

In 2013, Hong Yoo-kyung left the band.
