The Apollo IE ( Italian , "Intensa Emozione", translated: "strong feeling") is a super sports car from the automobile manufacturer Apollo Automobil Ltd. , the immediate successor to the Gumpert sports car manufacturer . The company originally planned to collaborate with Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus , but the IE will be built together with the Italian company Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT).

The De Tomaso P72 presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2019 uses the IE chassis as its technical basis.

history

The vehicle, limited to ten copies, was presented in Italy in October 2017. A road approval for the super sports car is not planned, a road version based on the Apollo Arrow presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 is considered likely.

drive

The Apollo IE is equipped with a 6.3-liter V12 gasoline engine that has an output of 574 kW (780 hp) and a maximum torque of 760 Nm.
