Apollonius Jan Cornelis Baron Lampsins (* 1754 in Amsterdam , † 1834 in The Hague ), Vrijheer von Herrschaft und Schloss Swieten , nominally Baron von Tobago , was a descendant of the Zeeland family Lampsins .

He was born the son of Johan Cornelis Baron Lampsins (1716–1767) and Margaretha Sautijn (1726–1805). Through his mother he was related to the De Graeff and Clifford families . He was with the Countess by marriage to Anna Margaretha Hartsinck (1751-1783) Henriëtte d'Oultremont de Wégimont , the morganatic wife of King William I used. This marriage came from Johanna Margaretha Baroness Lampsins, the wife of Jonkheer Jan van den Velden. Lampsins was a knight in the Order of the Dutch Lion and in the Guelph Order . As councilor and alderman (Dutch: schepen ) he sat in the Amsterdam city government and was appointed one of the directors of the Suriname Society in 1786 . Lampsins had other functions as Vogt of Vlissingen and chamberlain to the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III. inside. After the consolidation of the Dutch monarchy, Lampsins became a member of the First Chamber of the States General , King Wilhelm I's chamberlain on trips abroad, a member of various committees and a member of the Zeeland knighthood .
