The Apostolic Prefecture Labateca ( lat. : Apostolica de praefectura Labateca ) was one in Colombia situated Roman Catholic Apostolic Prefecture based in Labateca .

The Apostolic Prefecture Labateca was founded on June 15, 1945 by Pope Pius XII. Erected from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Nueva Pamplona and the Apostolic Prefecture of Arauca . On May 29, 1956, the Apostolic Prefecture Labateca was by Pius XII. dissolved again and the territory was annexed to the Archdiocese of Nueva Pamplona, the Diocese of Cúcuta and the Apostolic Prefecture of Arauca.
The only Apostolic Prefect was Luís Eduardo García Rodríguez MXY .
The apostolic prefecture Labateca was 13,000 km². The Apostolic Prefecture was divided into three parishes in 1950 and had six priests .
