Appeal Court Freising

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Court of Appeal Freising was a 1839 to 1862 in the Kingdom of Bavaria existing Court of Appeals based in Freising . The successor was the Munich Court of Appeal, which was converted into the Munich Higher Regional Court in 1879 .

history

The forerunner was the court court of Munich, established in Palatinate-Bavaria in 1803 as an appeal court for the Duchy of Upper Bavaria ( Rentamt München ) . Through the Organic Edict on the Judicial Constitution of July 24, 1808, Part III, it was converted into a royal Bavarian appeal court for the Isar district with its seat in Munich . The appeals courts ruled in senates with five members each. 1826 the Court of Appeal Munich was dissolved and the Court of Appeal Landshut in that time belonging to the Isar district Landshut laid. Since Landshut became the district capital of Lower Bavaria in 1837 , the Court of Appeal for Upper Bavaria (the former Isar District ) was relocated to Freising in Upper Bavaria in 1839 as the Freising Court of Appeal . In 1856 the appellate courts became the court of appeal for the decisions of the newly created district courts . In 1862 the Court of Appeal returned to the Bavarian capital of Munich as the Munich Court of Appeal as a result of further court reforms . In 1879, when the German Courts Constitution Act came into force, the Munich Court of Appeal was transformed into the Munich Higher Regional Court , which still exists today.
