Aqqaluaq B. Egede

Aqqaluaq Biilmann Egede [ ˈɑqːaluˌɑq ˈbiːlman ˈeːəðə ] (* 1981 in Narsaq ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Inuit Ataqatigiit ).

Life

Aqqaluaq B. Egede is the son of Bjarne Egede and Johanna Biilmann. He is a grandson of Martha Biilmann (1921–2008) through his mother . He is not married but has three daughters with his partner.

Aqqaluaq B. Egede was trained as a carpenter until 2005 . In the same year he was elected to the Narsaq Municipality Council. On January 1, 2009, as part of the administrative reform, the municipalities were converted into districts and municipalities set up above them. As a result, he was now a council member of the Kujalleq municipality . In the same year he was first elected to Inatsisartut . He was re-elected in 2013 and 2014. In 2016 he left the company prematurely as he became Minister of Finance and Taxes in Naalakkersuisut . In January 2018 he replaced Iddimanngiiu Bianco again in Inatsisartut, who had left in October 2017. He was re-elected in the 2018 general election.
