Ara Celi , actually Araceli Valdez , (born May 31, 1974 in El Paso , Texas ) is an American actress and voice actress .

Life

At the age of 18, she went to Mexico and starred in a Spanish-language soap opera . After three months, she decided to return to Los Angeles in 1993 and made a guest appearance on the TV series Saved by the Bell: The College Years . In the following years she had other guest appearances in the series Palm Beach Duo (1994), Renegade - Merciless Hunt (1995) and 1997 Buffy - The Vampire Slayer . She then starred in the films Looking for Lola (1997) and Macarena (1998). 1999 followed a small role in American Beauty . In the same year she starred in 12 episodes of the US soap opera All My Children and a year later in the film From Dusk Till Dawn 3 - The Hangman's Daughter produced by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez , in which she played the female lead.

In 2000 she played in Go Fish and in 2003 in Bruce Almighty . In the same year Ara Celi also had guest appearances on the series Nip / Tuck - Beauty Has Its Price and Te amaré en silencio . In 2010 she worked again with Robert Rodriguez and took on a small role in Machete .
