Aravinn Thevarr Gunasegaran (born October 4, 1993 in Ipoh ) is a Malaysian athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Aravinn Thevarr Gunasegaran gained his first international experience in 2015 when he finished fifth in the 200-meter run in 21.33 s at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore . Two years later he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar over 200 meters and was eliminated there with 21.41 s and in the 4 x 100 meter relay he was used in the run-up and helped the team to reach the final . He then won at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 21.26 s the bronze medal in the individual competition behind the Filipino Trenten Beram and Jirapong Meenapra from Thailand.
