Trenten Anthony Manugas Beram (born April 1, 1996 in Scarsdale ) is a former Filipino sprinter of American descent.

Athletic career

Beram has been allowed to start for the Philippines since 2016 and set a new indoor record in the 200-meter run in University Park with 21.27 seconds . In 2017 he started at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished fifth over 200 meters with a new national record of 20.96 s. He then won the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur over 200 meters and improved the national record there to 20.84 s. He also won the 400-meter run in 46.39 s and won the bronze medal behind the teams from Thailand and Indonesia with the Philippine 4 x 100 meter relay with a national record of 39.11 s. In 2018 he set a new indoor record over 400 meters in Boston with 46.77 seconds. In the summer he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta and reached the semifinals over 200 and 400 meters, in which he was eliminated with 21.26 s and 47.34 s. Even with the season he could not qualify for the final with 39.59 s. Since he was no longer in the national squad in 2019, this was his last competition and ended his career at the age of just 22.
