General
The term labor input has two different meanings. Historically, it is associated with Nazi forced labor, i.e. the systematic management of the workforce according to the overriding aspects of National Socialist state policy. In human resources , work is used as a synonym for hard work or commitment and is used in this form for assessments ( performance appraisal , employee appraisal or official appraisal ). According to Section 61 (1) BBG, civil servants must dedicate themselves to their profession with full personal commitment .
