Working group for education in the SPD

The Working Group for Education (AfB) in the SPD is a platform for all SPD members in the education sector and open to everyone interested in social democratic education policy. As one of a total of eleven working groups of the SPD, the working group for education is also organized in all state and district associations of the party. Ulf Daude has been the chairman since 2016. He replaced Peter Befeldt.

The SPD emerged primarily from workers 'education and workers' sports clubs. The working group for education in the SPD essentially organizes SPD members and supporters who are active in the education sector, e.g. B. as a teacher in schools, but also in adult education.

The last ordinary federal conference took place from May 21 to 22, 2016 in Hanover .
