In cooperation with the Bildungswerk der Humanist Union NRW and the Forum Geschichtskultur an Ruhr und Emscher, the working group has been organizing the workshop “History work and historical-political learning on National Socialism” every autumn since 1998. At these conferences, the employees of the memorials and other institutions can exchange ideas about their work and discuss current developments in research on National Socialism.

In addition to the joint website, the working group is also active with another internet project. The "Lebensgeschichtliche Netz", supported by six Nazi memorials from North Rhine-Westphalia, offers biographical information from the time of National Socialism by documenting the résumés of various people from the Rhineland and Westphalia .
