The Archives de la ville de Neuchâtel , also known as Archives communales , are the municipal archives of the Swiss city of Neuchâtel .
The Archives are run by the City Chancellery and, since 2003, its premises have been in the Galeries de l'histoire , a cultural asset of national importance in the historic suburb opposite the Hôtel DuPeyrou .
They include documents on the history of Neuchâtel from the 13th century to the present day. In addition to the documents of the city administration, she manages family, club and company estates. The archives of the Suchard - Tobler estate are an important area . The iconographic collection of the city archives is kept in the historical section of the neighboring Musée d'art et d'histoire .
The archives are members of the Association of Swiss Archivists and are listed in the information collection on Swiss memory institutions ISplus .
