The Arda Peak ( Bulgarian връх Арда wrach Arda ) is a roughly 470 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 0.47 km south of Gabrovo Knoll and 3 km west of Yambol Peak . The Charity Glacier is northwest of it, the Tarnowo-Piedmont Glacier southeast.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2004 after the Arda River in southern Bulgaria .
