Arlington is the name of an underground light rail -Station the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in Boston in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It offers access to branches B , C , D and E of the Green Line subway on the eponymous Arlington Street, southwest of the Boston Public Garden .
history
The station opened on November 13, 1921. Extensive renovations followed in 1967 and from 2006 to 2009. During the last work carried out, parts of the station were rebuilt so that, among other things, complete accessibility was achieved.

The metro station is located at the address 20 Arlington Street in Boston's center, facing the Boston Public Garden and is completely barrier-free accessible.
environment
There is a connection to an MBTA bus line at the station. In the immediate vicinity are the districts of Back Bay and Bay Village as well as the Boston Public Garden and Boylston Street .
