Arman Taranis (born July 30, 2001 ) is a Danish football player . The attacker (center forward) has been with Sønderjysk Elitesport since he was a teenager and is a young Danish national player.

Career

Arman Taranis started playing football at Sdr. Felding Gymnastik og Idrætsforening , SF.GIF for short, in Sønder Felding in western Jutland, before joining Herning Fremad from Herning in central Jutland , around 27 kilometers from Sønder Felding. Later Taranis moved to the football school of FC Midtjylland , which had emerged from a merger of the professional teams of Herning Fremad and Ikast fS. He then played in Haderslev, not far from the German border, for Haderslev FK , before moving to the Sønderjysk Elitesport football school a year later at the age of 15 . On September 5, 2019, Arman Taranis played his first game for the professional team in a 5-0 win in the second round of the Danish Cup at BK Viktoria, an amateur club from Copenhagen . Ten months later, on July 8, 2020, he made his debut in the Superliga , the first Danish division, when he came on for Rilwan Hassan in the 63rd minute in the 1-1 draw in the away game against Lyngby BK . A day later, the club announced that Taranis would move up to the professional team with some other players from the youth for the new season.

National team

Arman Taranis has been playing for the Danish U19 national team since 2019 .
