Armand Melly (born June 20, 1882 in La Rippe , † January 18, 1986 in Mies , reformed , entitled to live in La Rippe) was a Swiss politician (FDP) .

Armand Melly, born in La Rippe on June 20, 1882 as the son of the farmer Ami Ferdinand Melly and Aline Henriette Isaline, born Hermenjat, completed internships as a farmer and rancher in German-speaking Switzerland .

Political career

The free-spirited politician Melly was represented in the Vaudois Grand Council from 1933 to 1945 . In addition, he had a seat in the National Council from 1939 to 1947 .
