Armand Parmentier

Armand Parmentier (born February 15, 1954 in Waregem ) is a former Belgian marathon runner .

In 1982 he won the Antwerp Marathon and won the silver medal at the European Athletics Championships in Athens .

The following year, he set a national record in fourth at the Rotterdam Marathon with 2:09:57 h, which was only broken ten years later by Vincent Rousseau , finished sixth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki and won the Columbus Marathon .

In 1984 he finished fifth in Rotterdam and came in 30th at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles .
