Arn Strohmeyer

Arn Strohmeyer (* 1942 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Strohmeyer grew up in the GDR and later in Soest (Westphalia). After graduating from high school in Göttingen , he studied philosophy, sociology and Slavic studies at the University of Göttingen and then at the University of Bonn . After completing his master's degree, he worked as an editor for various daily newspapers, including the Weser-Kurier , and a monthly political magazine. He became known as an author for his critical reflections on the theories about Atlantis .

Strohmeyer lives and works in Bremen . Since his retirement he has focused on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict .

criticism

Arn Strohmeyer is critical of Israel's policy towards the Palestinians and is often criticized as anti-Semitic in this context.
