Arnd Arnold

Arnd Arnold (born September 30, 1971 in Diepholz ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

From 1978 to 1991 he attended schools in Wedel and Neunkirchen-Seelscheid . After graduating from high school in 1991 at the Antoniuskolleg ( Salesians Don Bosco ) in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid and completing basic military service (1991–1992), he studied economics at the Fernuniversität Hagen from 1991 to 2000 (graduated with the diploma examination (II) in 2000). From 1992 to 1997 he studied law at the University of Bonn (1997 first state law examination before the judicial examination office at the Cologne Higher Regional Court ). From 1997 to 2000 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Civil Procedure Law at the University of Bonn with Peter Reiff . After his legal clerkship (1998–2000) in the higher regional court district of Cologne, he passed the second state legal examination in 2000 at the state justice examination office of North Rhine-Westphalia. After completing his doctorate in 2000 at the University of Bonn under Peter Reiff, he worked from 2000 to 2006 as a research assistant at the chair for civil law , commercial and corporate law, labor law and European private law development at the University of Cologne under Barbara Dauner-Lieb . After completing his habilitation in 2006 at the Law Faculty of the University of Cologne; venia legendi for civil law, commercial and corporate law and tax law , he held a chair at the University of Erfurt from 2006 to 2007 . In 2007 he had a teaching position at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne as part of the postgraduate course “Diplôme universitaire de droit allemand - Preparation à l'examen d'équivalence pour l'inscription aux barreaux allemands”: Lectures on commercial and corporate law. From 2007 to 2012 he taught as a professor at the University of Kiel , chair of civil law, commercial and corporate law and tax law, director of the institute for business and tax law including white collar crime. Since 2012 he has been a professor at the University of Trier , professorship for civil law, business law and tax law.
