Arne Niederbacher

Arne Niederbacher (born December 12, 1970 in Ruit auf den Fildern ) is an Austrian carpenter and sociologist working in Germany .

Life

Arne Niederbacher attended Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Ostfildern-Nellingen and graduated in 1992 with secondary school leaving certificate. He then attended the Kolping Vocational College in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt and graduated with a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification . After training as a carpenter, he worked as a carpenter journeyman in other European countries until 1993. He first studied landscape architecture for one semester at the University of Kassel and then from 1993 onwards in social sciences at the University of Wuppertal ; he completed his studies with a degree in social science.

In 2010 Arne Niederbacher became Academic Councilor at the Institute for Sociology at the Technical University of Dortmund , where he had been working since 1999. He has been a senior academic councilor there since 2012.

In 2003 Niederbacher published a scientific study on owners of legal firearms in Germany under the title Fascination Weapons as a dissertation .
