Arne Zank

Arne Zank (born August 6, 1970 in Hamburg ) is a German musician who plays drums and keyboards for the rock band Tocotronic and sang a few pieces on the group's first four albums.

For some time he studied illustration in Hamburg, but just like his band colleagues Dirk von Lowtzow and Jan Müller , he broke off his studies to turn to music.

Zank is also active as a solo artist and has released several records. Zank also works as an animator. He received the audience award at the Hanse-Short 1999 for the animated film Das Experiment , produced together with Gregor Stockmann .
