Arnim rainbow

Arnim Regenbogen (born February 2, 1939 in Berlin ) is a German philosopher and adjunct professor at the University of Osnabrück .

Life

Rainbow studied philosophy , sociology and history in Berlin and Tübingen from 1958 to 1966 . He received his doctorate in 1968 from the Free University of Berlin and was then assistant in philosophy at the Osnabrück University of Education. When the university became part of the University of Osnabrück, Regenbogen became an Academic Councilor in 1974 and an Academic Senior Councilor in 1978. After completing his habilitation in 1993 in Osnabrück, he was given a university professorship there the following year and was appointed adjunct professor in 1995. The University of Osnabrück elected him vice-president in 1997.

Rainbow has researched, among other things, philosophical justice , sociological values and didactics of ethics teaching . He belongs to the interdisciplinary research center for values ​​education . Rainbow was a longstanding member of the editorial board of the European Encyclopedia on Philosophy and Science . Even after his retirement he is active in teaching and research at the University of Osnabrück.
