Arno Roßberg (born December 31, 1880 in Reudnitz , † after 1950) was a German politician of the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany .

Life

Arno Roßberg was born on New Year's Eve 1880 in a suburb of Leipzig . After finishing school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship at a public commercial college from 1895 to 1898. From 1905 he worked in the Hanover office of the Association of German Handlers and from October 1907 for the same association as Gauge managing director in Magdeburg . In 1908 he joined the Progressive People's Party . In addition, he was involved in other public offices, such as a state labor judge and a member of the state railway council. In 1913 Roßberg received a mandate from the city council in Magdeburg, which he held until 1933. After the National Socialists came to power, he had to resign and hired himself as a book auditor and as an assistant in tax and household matters.

After the end of the war in the summer of 1945, Roßberg was one of the founders of the LDP in Saxony-Anhalt . Probably because of his administrative experience, he was appointed 2nd Vice-President of the Magdeburg district of the province of Saxony , later the state of Saxony-Anhalt , by the occupying power in July . At the same time he sat from December 1946 as a replacement for the deceased Erich Krüger MP for the LDP in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt . However, Rossberg resigned from his parliamentary group in February 1950 and was one of the founders of the Mitte parliamentary group , which consisted of six former members of the LDP and CDU and was close to the SED . He later worked in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Saxony-Anhalt as head of the general department.

Nothing is proven in the literature about his further life.
