Arnold Ebert

Arnold Ebert (born April 3, 1921 in Detmold ; † December 12, 1989 there ) was a German lawyer and state secretary .

Life

After graduating from high school in Detmold, Arnold Ebert was drafted into the Wehrmacht and from 1940 took part in the Second World War as a soldier . In 1945 he was taken prisoner, from which he was released in 1949. He then began studying law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg , graduating with the first state examination in 1953 and the second state examination in 1957. He completed his internship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm , received his doctorate in 1956 , Dr. jur. and since 1957 worked as a court assessor at the local court in Lemgo . In 1961 he moved to the District Court of Detmold as a local court advisor , and in 1965 as a higher regional court advisor to the higher regional court of Hamm . From 1966 to 1972 he was head of the Lippe Regional Association (LVL). From April 1, 1972 until his retirement in 1984, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forests of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia . Ebert had been a member of the SPD since 1950 .
