history
Arnold Engineering was founded in 1896. In 1946 the Allegheny Ludlum Corporation took over the company. In 1986 it was sold to SPS Technologies . Walter Benecki was CEO from 1989 to 2008 and developed the company into a leading magnet manufacturer. Arnold Magnetic Technologies has been owned by Compass Diversified Holdings since 2012 .
