Arnold Verhoff

Arnold Verhoff (born March 21, 1889 in Wiedenbrück ; † March 7, 1972 ibid) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( center and CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, an apprenticeship as a bricklayer followed. Verhoff worked in this profession until the pension was granted, most recently as a foreman . He was married and had three children.

From 1924 to 1933 he was a member of the city ​​council in Wiedenbrück as a member of the center and was at times chairman of the parliamentary group. In 1946 he was one of the founding members of the CDU in Wiedenbrück. From March 28, 1961 to October 8, 1964, Arnold Verhoff was mayor of his hometown Wiedenbrück.

He was a member of the district council of the district of Wiedenbrück from January 10, 1946 to August 29, 1964. From January 18, 1946 to April 22, 1961, Verhoff was also district administrator . He was represented in numerous committees of the district assembly of North Rhine-Westphalia .
