Arnold von Laer

Arnold von Laer (born July 30, 1865 at Gut Oberbehme ; † May 13, 1924 in Springe ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Laer was a son of the manor owner von Laer in Oberbehme. He attended grammar schools in Herford and Gütersloh from 1876 to 1885 and then studied law in Lausanne, Heidelberg, Tübingen and Berlin. In Heidelberg he was a member of the Corps Vandalia . In 1888 Laer passed the trainee exam in Berlin. In 1891 he became a government trainee in Hanover , in 1894 a government assessor in Neustadt am Rübenberge , and in 1897 in Kassel . From 1902 to 1924 he was district administrator for the Springe district . He was a member of the Hanover Provincial Parliament from 1904 to September 1, 1919. Gustav Stölting became a successor in the provincial parliament .
