The Arroyo Guaviyú is a river in western Uruguay .
The river, located in the Paysandú department, has its source near the Cuchilla de Haedo . From there it flows in a westerly direction before flowing north of the city of Paysandú into the Río Uruguay , to whose catchment area it belongs. The thermal baths of Guaviyú ( Termas del Guaviyú ) are located on its banks .
