The Arroyo del Sauce is a river in northern Uruguay .
It rises in the Artigas department south of the source of the Arroyo Tres Cruces Chico . From there it flows in a south-westerly direction and flows east of the Cerro de los Zorros as a right-hand tributary into the Arroyo Cuaró Grande .
