The Arroyo Cuaró Grande is a river in northern Uruguay .

It rises in the area of the Departamento Artigas in the Cuchilla de Belén near the sources of the Arroyo del Medio and the Arroyo Mataperros Grande on the border with the neighboring department of Salto . From there it flows primarily in a north-westerly direction and meets its right-hand tributary Arroyo del Sauce near the Cerro de los Zorros . His further path leads him west to the village of Paso Campamento . Here it crosses Ruta 4 to the north . A few kilometers earlier, the union with the left-hand Arroyo Sarandí took place . Now flowing with another change of direction to the northwest, it crosses under the railway line running there a few kilometers southwest of Cuaró near Paso de Ratto . Then it is fed on the right by the Arroyo Cuaró Chico and ends after a long S-shaped route, on which it passes Paso Farías at the intersection of the Ruta 30 a few kilometers north, in the Cuchilla de los Tres Cerros at its mouth. This takes place as a left tributary of the Río Cuareim around two kilometers downstream of the confluence of the Arroyo Tres Cruces Grande .
