The Arroyo del Medio is a river in northern Uruguay .
It rises in the area of the Departamento Artigas in the transition area of the Cuchilla Yacaré Cururú and the Cuchilla de Belén northwest of the source of the Arroyo Cuaró Grande . From there it flows in a north-northeast direction and flows into the Arroyo Juan Fernández as a right tributary .
