Hans Gastenschab

Hans Magenschab (* 1939 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist .

After studying law and political science at the University of Vienna and the University of Salzburg , Magenschab worked as a journalist for ORF , later also as editor-in-chief for Die Furche . From 1976 to 1980 Magenschab worked as press officer at what would later become EVN AG. He then worked for 10 years as editor-in-chief of the weekly press before he was head of the Lower Austria division of the Kurier for four years .

In 1994 he became press spokesman for Austrian President Thomas Klestil and remained so until his death in 2004.

Since his student days (1957) is Magenschab member of the ACA connection KAV Bajuvaria Vienna .
