The Arroyo Juan Fernández is a river in northern Uruguay .
It rises in the area of the Artigas department in the Cuchilla Yacaré Cururú southeast of the source of the Arroyo Sauce de Macedo . From there it flows for the most part almost parallel to the Arroyo Sauce de Macedo in a north-easterly direction, crosses under the Ruta 30 and flows as a left tributary into the Arroyo Catalán Grande .
