Arsène Fokou Fosso (born June 27, 1983 in Yaoundé ) is a boxer from Cameroon .

successes

He started boxing in 2007 and won the national heavyweight championship in 2010. He finished fifth at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and won the silver medal at the 2014 Africa Cup.

In 2017 he started at the African Championships in Brazzaville and won the gold medal in the super heavyweight division, which qualified him for the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg . There he defeated Aleksei Zavatin (3-2) and Cristhian Salcedo (TKO), which made him move into the semifinals. There he lost to Qamschybek Qongqabaev and won a bronze medal.

He reached the quarter-finals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia .
