Art of Infinity is a German band founded in 1996 by the musician Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and the producer Thorsten Rentsch. Her style includes atmospheric electronic music with influences from pop , progressive rock and ambient , but occasionally also artists such as Pink Floyd , Deep Imagination , Kraftwerk , Vangelis , Enya or Tangerine Dream .
history
Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and Thorsten Rentsch met in 1986 in a recording studio in Frankfurt . In 1996 they founded Art of Infinity together and produced the four albums New Horizon (2000), Dimension Universe (2004), Endless Future (2008) and Raumwerk (2012), all of which were distributed by the German record company / music publisher BSC Music and distributed by Rough Trade Germany. Guest musicians include the singers Eva Wolf, Alquimia, Ann Kareen Mainz ( Deep Imagination ), Antje Schulz (ex- Chandeen ) and Ilona Gerulat, keyboardist Matthias Krauss (ex- Matalex , Trinity Xperiment), guitarist Klaus Heuser (ex- BAP ), Violinist Thomas Kagermann , saxophonist Stefan Höllering and the percussionists Mario Argandoña and Byron Metcalf. Art of Infinity gave their first and so far only concert on November 3, 2012 in the Zeiss Planetarium Bochum . Since then, the members of Art of Infinity have been working on other projects and are currently resting their activities.
