Artur Baeumle

Artur Bäumle (born September 4, 1906 in Lörrach ; missing since January 6, 1943, declared dead on December 31, 1945 ) was a German athlete who competed for the SSV Ulm in 1846 .

Bäumle was one of the best German long jumpers in the 1930s . In 1936 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Berlin and took 9th place in the long jump semifinals.

Bäumle was a soldier in World War II.
